Kanlıca

Cumartesi günü Emirgan'dan Kanlıca'ya çok kısa süren vapur seferiyle gittim. Tarihi yarımadanın silueti olmasa da bu rotanın manzarası da ilham verici. Kanlıca, nasılsa bir zaman giderim diyerek hep ertelediğim bir yerdi, mezuniyet yaklaşınca ziyaret kaçınılmaz oldu :) İskeleye çok yakın olan şirin bir caminin eskizini paylaşıyorum, Kanuni döneminde inşa edilen bu caminin mimarı Sinan. 

On Saturday, I went to Kanlıca from Emirgan with ferry, arrived so quickly. Even though there's no silhoutte of historical peninsula, the wiew is still inspiring. Kanlica was always on my list, however I postponed it since it was not a far distance. Close to my graduation, I thought I should go. I am sharing a quick sketch of cute little mosque near wharf, it was done in times of the Magnificent the Suleiman, the architect of it is famous Sinan.

Süleymaniye ve Eminönü Yeni Camii / Mosque Sketches

Yaklaşık on sene önce Eminönü Yeni Camii'yi çizmiştim, on sene sonra aynı yere oturup çizmek çok karışık bir duygu. Düşündüğümden daha çok zaman alan ve zorlayan üç eskiz sunuyorum, toplamda iki saate yakın sürdü. Çizilebilecek daha çok kısımları var iki caminin de. 

(Tarayıcı çok iyi değildi kalite biraz düştü gibi sanki.)

I made sketch of Yeni Camii (Eminonu) almost ten years ago, sitting at the same place after ten years feels mixed. These three sketches took more time and effort than I expected. Spent two hours nearly to finish them. There are lots of part of these two mosques that can be good for practicing.

Bu yazın ortalarında uzun uğraşlar sonucu Ebay üzerinden Asus'a ait Wacom kalemli bir tablet aldım, gümrük mevzuatı ile ilgili sorunuz olursa çekinmeyin :) Cihaz 8 inç, çizim için biraz zorluk oluşturuyor ama taşıması kolay ve eskizler için kullanışlı duruyor. Isınmaya çalışırken çizdiklerim bunlar.

This is the first post of my new blog, thought I should create one for sketches.

I've bought Asus Vivotab Note 8 recently (got a good deal on Ebay), it is really portable devices that can be used for sketching. made by artists on the net. Maybe I can write a review about it, but it's not something new, and there are really good reviews. I am trying to get comfortable with it and drew these. The screen is 8' so it's not easy as paper&pencil.  :)
